For serious connoisseurs of fine Italian products, caffé italiano supplies coffee machines, coffee, grinders, hot chocolate, food and wine to both the home and business markets.
caffé italiano was set up in New Zealand by Massimo Giurioli in 2001 as an importing business. Today Massimo still carefully chooses the stock he imports from Italy, ensuring it is right to meet the demands of the discerning coffee and hot chocolate drinkers here in New Zealand.
Business has expanded since those early days, and Massimo has now added many other products such as pasta, salame, pancetta, mortadella, Parma ham and delicious cheeses like fresh bufalo mozzarella to his stock. These products are now available for you to try at one of the six franchise caffé italiano stores around Wellington.
The caffé italiano concept has been well received in New Zealand. We are a delicatessen, café, restaurant, retail and wine store under one roof.
Our range of coffee is extensive. We are proud to support the Molinari and Serio brands of Italian coffee – over a dozen carefully selected and unique blends. We offer this in beans, grounds and specialised pods. Organically grown Fair Trade beans and ground coffee are also part of our stock items. The premium 5 star Molinari blend comes in a stylish 3kg or 1 kg tin containing the beans in a modified atmosphere. Freshness and taste is a crucial factor for us.
caffé italiano has distributors throughout New Zealand (they are all listed on this web site) so fabulous coffee options are close by. We want to assist YOU in your coffee-seeking endeavour – be it machines or consumables. Our specialists are on call to answer your queries, assist with any technical information, ensure a continuing supply of consumables and if requested on site barista training.
We are at an exciting stage of our development here in New Zealand. Response to our products and services to date has been outstanding. We have now 6 caffé italiano franchises in Wellington and we are looking to expand our network outside the capital city.
